Article Processing Charge

All readers and authors of Bulletin of Indonesian Islamic Education Research can enjoy the benefits of free open access. We believe that free open access promotes accessibility and use throughout the world, serving the professional and scientific community, as well as the wider community. Because there are no fees charged for access, Bulletin of Indonesian Islamic Education Research offsets the cost of publication (including the costs of peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving) by charging article processing charges (APC) to authors, institutions, or funders for each published article.

During the submission and peer-review process, there are no charges. The APC is charged to the author when their manuscript is editorially accepted or before the publication with the amount IDR 250,000) Further information to make payments will be notified along with the status of their manuscript is editorially accepted. We request that you evaluate your potential to obtain funding for the Article Processing Charge before submission, not after acceptance.

We understand that some institutions may have limited funding for their research activities.  Thus, we have instituted a generous waiver system that may ease the payment of the APC when their researchers choose to publish their manuscripts in Bulletin of Indonesian Islamic Education Research . Authors from Low Income Countries may be granted up to 75% waiver and Lower Middle-Income Countries may be granted up to 40% waiver.
