Implementasi Penerapan Metode Tasmi’ Al-Quran Terhadap Kualitas Hafalan Santri di Rumah Tahfidz Majelis Quran Ahludz Dzikri Kayu Agung Ogan Komering Ilir

Abstract

The current phenomenon shows that many Quran memorizers focus more on the amount of memorization than on its quality. They tend to prioritize how many verses can be memorized compared to fluency and accuracy in memorizing. In fact, maintaining the quality of reading is very important so that memorization is not easily forgotten. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Quran tasmi' method at the Quran House of Ahludz Dzikri Kayu Agung Ogan Komering Ilir, the quality of students' memorization, and the advantages and disadvantages of the method. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis model from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Quran tasmi' method at the Tahfidz House covers various categories of tasmi', ranging from multiples of 1 juz to 30 juz and monthly tasmi'. This method has proven effective in improving the quality of students' memorization fluently, mutqin, and Quranic morals. The advantages of this method include maintaining memorization, training courage and self-confidence, increasing memory, and minimizing errors in reading verses. However, this method also has disadvantages, namely requiring a long preparation time and a memorization process that is not instant, so it requires patience and perseverance from the students. Thus, it is important for memorizers of the Quran not only to pursue the number of memorizations, but also to pay attention to the quality of reading so that memorization can last a long time and provide maximum benefits.
