Variasi Bahasa Sunda di Kecamatan Parigi Kabupaten Pangandaran: Analisis Dialektologi

Abstract

The research formulation (1) What are the linguistic differences that occur in Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency? (2) How is language kinship in Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency? This research was conducted to obtain an overview of language variations and/or dialect differences in Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency. The research method used is a descriptive method using fieldwork methods through note-taking, observing, and recording techniques. The instruments used in collecting data were swadesh vocabulary and 200 cultural vocabulary which were modified into a list of questions. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out through phonetic transcription, classification, identification, and dialectometric calculations or comparisons between points of observation. First, the language data from the interviews that have been obtained are then phonetically transcribed. Second, after the data has been phonetically transcribed, each given is classified based on phonological, morphological, and lexical aspects. The third process is to identify any differences at the phonological level so that a conclusion can be drawn about how many differences there are. The next process is to determine the differences in linguistic elements between the observation point areas using dielectrometry calculations, in order to obtain results that will determine whether the differences are differences in language, dialect, sub-dialect, speech differences, or there are no differences in the four observation point areas. in Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency.
