Upaya Sekolah dalam Mengatasi Perilaku Bullying Siswa SMP

Bullying behavior among junior high school students is a problem that requires serious attention. This study aims to analyze the efforts made by schools in overcoming junior high school students' bullying behavior. The research method used is interviews with teachers, school staff, and students who have experience or knowledge of bullying at school. The research findings show that the school has implemented several strategies to address bullying behavior. First, the school provides a classical service on bullying, where students are given information and education on the negative impact of such behavior. In addition, the school also establishes Agents of Change who are tasked with identifying bullying cases, providing support to victims, and educating other students about the importance of respecting and keeping others safe. Furthermore, the school runs the P5 program (Projek Pengerahan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) which covers the issue of bullying as part of Pancasila values education. Finally, the school organizes a movie night with various themes shown in turn, including bullying, to give students a deeper understanding. While these efforts have yielded positive results in reducing bullying behavior, challenges such as lack of resources and wider awareness still need to be addressed. This research provides valuable insights for schools in developing more effective strategies in addressing junior high school students' bullying behavior.
