Improving Learning Outcomes Islamic Religious Education Material Khulafaur Rasyidin Using the Word Square Method

This research aims to improve PAI learning outcomes with Khulafaur Rasyidin material for class VII B students at SMP N 10 Salatiga. The question that will be answered through this research is whether the Word Square method can improve Islamic learning outcomes on Khulafaur Rasyidin material in class VII B of SMP Negeri 10 Salatiga Years. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The steps in learning using Classroom Action Research (PTK), namely planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection are carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 21 students in class VII B, consisting of 14 male students and 7 female students with a KKM of 64 and classical completeness of 85%. The results of the pre-cycle research showed that 7 students had completed or a percentage of 33.3% and 14 students had not completed or a percentage of 66.6% with an average of 60.71. In the first cycle, 15 students completed or a percentage of 71% and 6 students did not complete or a percentage of 29% with an average of 79.52. Meanwhile, in cycle II there were 20 students who completed it or a percentage of 95% and 1 student who did not complete it or a percentage of 5% with an average of 84.77. The conclusion of this research is: The use of the Word Square method can improve student learning outcomes on Khulafaur Rasyidin material in class VII B students at SMP Negeri 10 Salatiga
