Abstract

Field research was conducted in Nilau Cold Village, Lembah Masurai District, Regency. Meandering. The research was conducted in early 2023. Soil sampling for determining physical properties was carried out by survey using the Proportional Random Sampling method in areas planted with cinnamon, coffee plants, a mixture of cinnamon and coffee plants and primary forest soil on slopes 8 – 15 8 % with Andisol soil type . The parameters observed for several soil physical properties were soil volume weight, total pore space, soil water content, organic matter content, soil C-organic content and soil permeability. Each treatment was repeated 15 times. To distinguish some of the physical properties of Andisols in the soil planted with cinnamon, coffee plants, a mixture of cinnamon and coffee and forest soil. To compare the characteristics between treatments, the mean test is not paired at the level of 5% (Steel and Torrie, 1995). From the results of the unpaired mean test, it was found that the replacement of forest with cinnamon, coffee, mixed cinnamon and coffee plants showed that the volume weight and total pore space, water content, organic matter content, C-organic content and soil permeability same with forest land.
