Sejarah Peradaban Islam di Pakistan dan Ide Pembaharuan Muhammad Ali Jinnah

This research aims to analyze the history of Islam civilization in Pakistan and the idea of reforming Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The type of research used is library research using a normative theological approach. The data collection method is carried out by searching reference books in the form of books, history books of classical &; modern Islamic civilization, journals and other references relevant to the object of study. The results of this study show that Jinnah's ability and skills in realizing his ideas are supported by the foundation of Islamic Studies from his family and the knowledge he gained while in Europe. The first purpose of the establishment of the Pakistani state was for Indian Muslims to practice their religion safely and peacefully, without which it would be impossible to create harmony of views among the followers of the major religions. His most prominent reform ideas were in the political field. He wanted India to be freed from the clutches of the British colonialists through decisive and revolutionary efforts. He did not like the way the Muslim League of the Indian National Congress Party pursued, namely the politics of obedience and loyalty to the British government.
