Abstract

The impact of the technological era, promiscuity and social society that does not care about religious issues can cause problems for the younger generation, the importance of fortifying children with religious teachings and forming religious character in children from an early age will help fortify children in instilling religious values ??through habituation. The purpose of this research is to find out the strategy of instilling religious character values ??in children in the community. The presentation of this paper is based on an analysis of library data with a descriptive analysis model. From the results of the discussion, it can be seen that the role of an ustadz educator is in charge of not only imparting knowledge to children, but also being able to transform values ??to the students being taught. Instilling good habits for children is very important in forming religious character from an early age in the social environment of society. As well as the practice of praying the five times a day and its benefits, fasting, discipline in reciting the Koran, behaving politely to elders, speaking politely, and helping each other to help the poor and so on. Habituation is a very important educational method in Islam which places great importance on education with habituation. The existence of this habituation has a goal so that children can carry out religious teachings in an istiqamah manner and can be used as a basis for understanding morals and can be implemented in everyday life.
