Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the concept of application of Islamic education and to know the concept of evaluation of Islamic education policy. This study uses library research, by collecting various documents from both journals and books. The results of this study are that the evaluation of Islamic education is a process and activity of a planned assessment of students from all mental-psychological and religious-spiritual aspects in Islamic education to determine the level of progress in Islamic education. Evaluation objectives are: a) to determine the level of understanding of students; b) find out which students are smart and who are weak; c) collect information; d) to find out the mastery of students in certain competencies/sub-competencies; e) to find out students' learning difficulties (diagnostic test) and to provide direction and scope for further evaluation development.
