Abstract

Online learning has actually been widely applied since decades ago in many countries, including Indonesia, but its development is quite slow. This study aims to look at students' perceptions of learning English during the Covid-19 pandemic in terms of personal factors. Students face internal or external difficulties during online English learning which can affect their performance in online learning. This study found that there were two findings that indicated students' agreement and disagreement. there were more responses given by students than five statements. The positive response given by the students was 40% or 6 students, while the negative response given by the students was or 60% or 12 students. The results of this study showed that students gave negative perceptions of online English learning during the covid 19 pandemic.
