An Analysis of Feminism in Marlina Si Pembunuh dalam Empat Babak Movie

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feminism in Marlina si Pembunuh dalam Empat Babak movie. This study uses descriptive qualitative method. Feminism appear through films, one of which is Marlina si Pembunuh dalam Empat Babak. Therefore, this paper aims to find out what is mean by feminism and how feminism is reflected in films and associated with liberal feminism. This study uses a qualitative method with sources from the original Marlina si Pembunuh dalam Empat Babak video. The writer uses data collection techniques from online sources. The data were collected by watching the film repeatedly and understanding the film's dialogue several times and making observations to strengthen the analysis. The result showed that this filem categoried of liberal feminism because Marlina is told as a woman who finds justice starting from herself. Although it is only limited to drama and thriller films, this film provides an explanation of feminism in society.
