Abstract

The article aimed to know the contribution of planning to the management of the learning quality of the Mandailing, to know the contribution of Learning Media to the management of the quality of, and to know the contribution of planning and learning media to the management of the quality of learning carried out by Engglish teachers at SMP Negeri Mandailing Natal. The researchers used correlational quantitative methods. The sample used random sampling technique, hence the sample in this study amounted to 67 people. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study were data description, requirements test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study showed that 1) Learning planning contributes to the management of the quality of learning carried out by the English teachers of SMP Negeri Mandailing Natal with a contribution of 23.3%, 2) Learning media contributes to the management of the quality of learning carried out by English teachers of SMP Negeri Mandailing Natal with the amount of 24, 4%, 3) Planning and media together contribute to the management of learning quality by 36.5%. This explains that to improve the management of good and ideal learning quality, it should be done through improving learning planning and learning media.
