Penerapan Model Pembelajaran POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) Berbasis Telegram untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar dan Motivasi Belajar
Abstract
The purpose of this article was to improve student learning outcomes and motivation by applying the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model use Telegram. It was conducted on the Annelida, Invertebrate Systematics. The research subjects were college students of Pendidikan Biologi, Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe (Unirow) Tuban. The research method was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The research instruments were sheet of learning outcomes tests and motivation questionnaires. The research data were analyzed by using the N-Gain score. The results show that learning outcomes and motivation increase after the Telegram-based POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model was applied. The average learning outcomes increase from 61.8 to 88.2 and the average N-Gain score was 0.71 or high category. The average motivation increase from 48.9 to 84.4 and the average N-Gain score was 0.86 or high category. Increasing motivation has positive effect on learning outcomes.
