Abstract

The aim of this article developed Moderation-Based Modules as Teaching Materials for Khulafa al-Rashidin and implemented Moderation-Based Modules as Teaching Materials for Khulafa al-Rashidin at SMP. LABSCHOOL PULPEN. This type of research used qualitative research. The subjects of this study were Islamic education teachers and seventh grade students of SMP LABSCHOOL PULPEN. The data collection techniques used participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the moderation-based module was going well; it can be seen in the interactions that built between teachers and students. The development of teaching materials was carried out in four stages, namely at the planning stage the teacher digs up information regarding the exemplary Khulafa al-Rasyidin. In building a tolerant society. In the second stage, the information was poured into a column to ponder and pay attention. The third stage, the teacher reviews and revises the information that has been presented to test whether the information in accordance with the learning objectives. The last stage was finalization which was the stage of improvement, supporting and inhibiting factors for the development of moderation-based module teaching materials, including internal factors related to individual interactions and external factors related to economic, social, and political education.
